| Posted : 22 Mar 2011 - 18:36 Post title : Triumph could become the latest new religion in Britain | | Britain is filling in it's Census Questionnaires right now. I'm sure most of us are aware of Jedi Knight becoming a religion 10 years ago, because more than (I think) 3,000 people put it down. I think you're ahead of me now. If enough of us put down "Triumph" for question 20, we could become a new, established religion, with many positive spin-offs & fun events:
1: Watching the midsummer sun rise at Meriden 2: Tax-free religious icons (custom items) 3: Ritual burning of inferior Bike Worshippers
Its difficult (dinner's ready) to stop but I must.

I don't do the paperwork just sign here and here and finally here. But if I did they would be in for a shock (and I would have a whole lot more paperwork to fill in).
Love the idea and wish I had added it in. Wouldn't be able to call in a Triumph Church 'cos that might upset some folk (but then again that might be fun eh).

Now that was funny!
Anyway - I'd rather be out on my Triumph every Sunday than blowing an Alp Horn every service!

We have enough trouble already with the BlackBird owners believing they are faster than Silver or Blue.
Then there is the possiblity of clashes with the other major religions: BMW and Harley!
No, I think you will be better off without a new religion. It may be better to register as a Political Party then you could get donations from lobby groups, promise the world and deliver nothing. Others get away with it. You could organise state sponsored rallies and perhaps even influence some rational legislation that is favourable to motorcyclists. (Triumph riders only of course.) The possibilities are endless.

It's funny how minority beliefs and cults just don't seem to work in Britain or the Antipodes.

As long as we don't get started along the lines of Monty Python's 'The Peoples Front Of Judia' and not the 'Judian Peoples' Front'...
Always good for a laugh....

Actually you'd be hard pressed to have better riding weather than we've had here.... but then Eastern Arkansas is not exactly prime riding country. (river bottom land ) but just a bit north and west of hear you could have a frightfully good time I'm sure. Can't wait to get back and get everything sorted for the trip. I have got to get on the ball and get my bags ordered or I'll be screwed for sure.
